A Patient Oriented Global Enterprise

MicroPort® was founded in 1998 in a small office in ZJ Hi-Tech Park in Shanghai China, where a group of dedicated individuals joined together by the common belief that advancements in medical technology could transform patients' lives around the globe. Over the last two decades, MicroPort® has taken important steps towards fulfilling its mission of providing trustworthy and universal access to state-of-the-art solutions of prolonging and reshaping all lives.

Global Network

On top of its headquarters in ZJ Hi-Tech Park, Shanghai, MicroPort® has established major production and research centres in Shanghai, Suzhou, Jiaxing, Shenzhen, as well as a global footprint of research and development, and manufacturing facilities, including locations in the United States (Memphis, TN), France (Clamart), Italy (Saluggia), the Dominican Republic (Santo Domingo). Today, MicroPort® employs a diverse global workforce of near 7,000 employees.

At MicroPort® innovation is present in everything we do, not only in the treatments and services we develop but also in the way we foster innovation. MicroPort® is a consortium of subsidiaries closely collaborating together, sharing resources and expertise yet retaining the independence and agility to innovate. Currently, MicroPort® is focused in covering 10 major areas with various subsidiaries and over 300 devices and technologies.

Thanks to over 300 MicroPort® devices currently approved for use in nearly 10,000 hospitals worldwide, one of our devices is used every six seconds. We continually strive to help create a better world through providing enabling technologies to support the wellbeing of our patients.
